Nice work, but what are your plans for painting the exhaust headers? Here's a couple of shots of my engine rebuild with R3 headers.

These are pictures taken 10 years ago during the refreshing of B46 (R3S M306) from Avanti 63R5642. The headers were left as is, at that time, but my own R2 Avanti has high-heat aluminum paint over a sand blasted surface that has stood up remarkably well 7000 highway miles.
Everything that showed evidence of factory (Paxton) red paint was repainted red including the transmission cooling lines and rear engine mounts. I suspect that the front mounts should also be painted red. The blower was left black as it didn't require any service.Comment
