It should be screwed into the master cylinder with 2 wires connected to it. I believe it is a 1&1/8th inch box end or socket (12 point type) wrench or worst case, pliers. Un screw it...screw the new one in, plug the wires back on. Hope this helps,

Or, in the best case, a special rounded six point socket designed for the purpose. Actually, its a socketworth buying if you want to get them, and other oil pressure and such senders out in reuseable shape.

Because he has a 48 with the frame mounted Master Cylinder and maybe forgot that it's under the hood on late Lark types.
