My 40+ year old original '59-'64 Shop Manual is missing the entire section on convertible bodies. I didn't find that out until today when I was found that I have some quarter window, top mechanism issues on the '64 Daytona.
Does anyone have that section scanned/available for download? (I also posted this to the Studebaker Newsgroup.)
Thanks,

When I bought the '64 Daytona convertible last spring it had a "tired" top, but the seller included a new top which I think he said came from SI. Last week I had the top put on. The shop had trouble stretching it in the front with the result that there is a pucker above the vent wing on each side. This highlights the mis-fit of the rubber along the top (the weatherstrips fall about 1/2" short of touching the windshield post seals- leaks one and two). Then, on the drivers side, the rear quarter window lacks about 3/8" of meeting the rubber seal along the back edge toward the bottom, but the window, when all the way up, causes the door window to slightly override it (leak three). THEN, the inner flaps of the top along the top frame behind the windows seems to end about six inches above the body. Can you say air scoops? (leaks four and five). The irony is I don't remember these gaps on the old top and I don't have any good pix to show how it was. So, what I thought was, maybe I can adjust the left rear regulator some and perhaps the top frame mount to solve part of the problem. But, I'm not about to touch it without knowing more about it.
The upholstery shop, needless to say, would rather have made the top themselves, but will stand behind their work. The owner told me to leave it in the sun as much as I could then bring it back in a month and they will re-stretch it. At that point I didn't notice the big gap at the rear on each side.
So, any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Here are some pictures of what I am talking about.
First, the pucker on the driver's side- see the gap between the weatherstrips below the apex of the pucker-

Left rear quarter fit- see the gap between the outer surface of the top and the top frame and between the window and the weatherstrip-

The red in the lower right is the interior panel- also see the gap between the rear of the window and the weatherstrip-
