  • Cam plug

This may be a stupid question to you that do this on a regular basis but do I need to remove the freeze plug at the rear of the camshaft before I send my block to be cleaned and have new cam bearings installed? Thanks for the help,

I'm sure the machine shop will do that, they have to knock the old cam bearings out so the plug needs to go
