  • Potential deal in Vermont

Anyone looking for a '63 2 door or need parts for the same? There is one located in Brattleboro, Vt. with an opening bid of $50.00 (but with a reserve). The car has been sitting 10 years, claims motor (OHV 6) has 15-20K on it. Comes with what appear to be 2 NOS rear springs (I still see a tag on one), 8 hubcaps, 2 '64 taillights and other parts. Looks like the grille was replaced as I see a V-8 emblem on it.

Appears there are enough good parts to make it worthwhile for somone.

Thanks for posting this, but the timing is just a little late for me. I stayed in Brattleboro, VT last weekend. Now I am at home, 200 miles away. The guy should have put an ad or information up at the SDC Northeast Zone Meet that was 16 miles from Brattleboro last weekend. He probably would have gotten a lot of people to run over and at least take a look.

I'm in Vermont and saw this car on ebay. It's about 115 miles away. Being a 6, plus the fact that it sat outside for 10 years in this climate means that it's likely infected by tin worms, has pitted potmetal and a damp mildewed interior (not to mention a potential rodent hotel), I didn't figure it was worth the two hour drive each way (and the gas money) to look at it. If anyone is really hot after it I could probably take a look on Sunday for the cost of fuel.
