Can anyone tell me of a 6 volt battery charger/booster supplier, company, or brand to look for that works well and is reasonably priced?

I got mine from Sears. I think most chargers have a 6V and 12V switch on them.

Even some of the small plug in and leave it type chargers can be had for 6volt batteries.

Since you on the internet...do a "6 volt charger" search.

Thanks Mike -- it seemed everyone was reading my post but no one was answering and I know your not the only one with a charger. The problem I'm having do the www search is now they have an unbelievable amount of chargers that are 12 volt only but do so at 6 amps so they too come up in the search - my dad used to have one with a 6/12 volt switch but most of the new ones are 12 volt only or over $100... I bought a second battery thinking the car would need it when I bought it last week but it started fine - now I'm trying to fix some lights and have had to jump it with my new battery after toying with it for a while === just trying to be prepared

If you are talking about battery maintenance chargers (ones that keep your battery topped off, but don't cook it), I bought one a couple years ago at my local Battery Warehouse (6-volt only). It was about $30 as I recall. They will greatly extend the life of your battery. If you can't come up with one, let me know and I can pick one up for you.
