sold.....does anybody know a Richard Allen

from Pryor, OK (where my wife grew up).

Congratulations Glen. It looks like you got a good price, but it also looks like an exceptionally nice car. I would have liked to have had it if I had the money.

Thanks....I took just a little discount
from when I bought her from David Carter....
but who would have thought a 1953 2 door
sedan would have done that well. The buyer
sounds likes a nice guy....plus he is from
Oklahoma, which is a plus in my family.

I sure hope he joins the SDC. It'd be a shame if Charlene left the "family."

Richard has been a member of this forum for about a year but has posted only a time or two. It's nice to know one of our "foks" bought your car. Congrats.

Dick, I appreciate that info on Richard...yes
that was what I was hoping for that someone
within the "family" would take her home.

Looks like Richard just bought a bullet-nose.

Thought something was up, when I called
him, after the sale, to congratulate him
on his winning bid on "Charlene the Stude"...
He said "which one"? He does like Studes and
to work on them.
