  • 1929-30 Commander GJ 6 Cyl - Hershey lock

I can't figure how to remove the combo ignition/streering wheel Hershey lock. I have no key and want to have the lock restored and a key made. Does anyone know how to remove the lock assembly? HELP! Gene Densmore - Tallahassee FL

    Gene,
I know this may sound goofy, but it's worth a shot. Find the page in your telephone book (yellow pages) that has locksmiths on it. Find the oldest company in town with the oldest technician. It may take a few calls and a few referrels, but I'll bet you can locate someone that can help you out. I think you'll be surprized. OBTW, I've done this before on an old antique slot machine... it worked for me.
