  • OUCH- This hurts...

Can't believe what this sold for...

Am I missing something? Just based on the somewhat vague ad, I'd certainly have bid at least double what it sold for, sight unseen- if I didn't have to add a grand for shipping...[}]

If anyone sees a 59-60 4 door within 500 miles or so of central NY for somewhere near this, please let me know; I'll jump on it!! It can be a rust bucket; I've got good floors and body (except for LR quarter, which are available) drivetrain; just need a parts car around for odds and ends!

The Lark's inside and I'm starting on it; put in ahead of the wagon, as I want to get it at least yard-drivable and straight... plus, this is going to be a driver-type resto, while the wagon is going to be a higher level.

Who knows, maybe I'll find one I can bring home from Reedsville [8D]

Let me know if you see any!! []

Somebody got a lot of car for the money! I'd be smiling ear to ear if I had bought it.

JEEEZ ! That nice Regal dash with radio, heater, cig. liter and the steering wheel and horn ring are worth what he paid for it![^] Then there's the optional (AC) back-up lights, a pretty rare option, and a V-8 Automatic to boot!

Biggs is near this car, and said he might try to sniper-bid it... but didn't [:0][?]

            What happened, Bob?

                    WTH?!? A M A Z I N G . . .

I can't believe anyone that knows how to use eBay wouldn't think to look up comparables to get an idea of what theirs is worth...[:0][xx(][V]

Even if they think they might catch someone unaware, it still shows up in a row with others

JDP, I'm sure your message will show up- with that link- at the bottom of his ad [:I]

Another example of someone thinking they've got a real valuable car; probably Barrett-jackson watchers... hope they're ready for a good dose of RSS!

For $280 buckeroos, he stole it. One of the problems will be to replace the trim on the right side of the car. The car really looks to be in pretty fair shape and is quite restorable.
