Other then the hood ornament and the skirts, I like the car. That's not a bad choice for a swap for what was likly a flathead six.(He didn't even pay for a radio)

Yea them 340 mopars were great little engines.Just lose the hood ornament.

The car probably moves quite well with that 340. I wonder what he is using for a trans-a 727? That upper rad hose has quite a kink in it though!

Cool! (if you lose ht hood art) The skirts are, well, "OK". Talk about a sleeper! But, then again, my Daytona is a sleeper as well; with a 170 OHV six and an auto trans, it just doesn't wake up! Such a nice lookin' car makes me want one even more!

Two random observations:

1. Very interesting the way the rear fender skirts totally change the lines of the car.

2. Am thinking some questionable kharma might come with the car from an owner who likes big hood ornaments and decals on c-pillars.

I should bid on it, and then sell the 340 to a MoPar Fanatic for an outrageous sum, the '56 Hood Bird to a Xhevy restorer, and place an a in TW for the skirts. Put in a 259, and I'll have a nice car. There is nothing like a Lark....
