    Well, fairly cheap for a supercharged 4 speed at least. I bought this project car in Ca. last night.

      It's not really my money in the normal sense. When I buy and resell Studebakers, I put the money back in more rolling stock. More then once, I was too cash poor to buy a car because my money was tied up in cars. Just two weeks ago, I was near broke, then sold three cars and was OK for all of a week. Now, I'm buying 4 more.
      I never know if I'll have any money in the bank from week to week, but it's more fun then getting the same paycheck week in and out.
      BTW, the Avanti you are talking is another one I'm trying to buy later in the week, this is another.

        It's not really my money in the normal sense. When I buy and resell Studebakers, I put the money back in more rolling stock.
