I have a 2-fer for you guys. Is there any such thing as original color chits (specifically, Sand White - 1960)that still have reliable color fidelity after so long? And secondly, is there any NOS for the weather stripping along the roll-up window/door space? I assume there was some material running along either side of the windows. Gee I wish I had been more observant when I was nine yrs old. I would'nt have to be bothering anybody with these boneheaded questions.

Original color chip sheets? Yes. Reliable color fidelity? Questionable. You should be able to find an unfaded original spot someplace unexposed to light, like inside the trunk or under the door threshold.

No NOS window channel, and if there were you probably wouldn't want it. Time takes its toll. Mr. Biggs can tell you how to refurbish them if the beads and body are still solid. Otherwise, you can get replacements from Stude vendors or other restoration suppliers.

I painted my 59' wagon a few years back and might have that White Sand formula for you. I think I had it in Dupont base/clear.
