My advice; Join the Studebaker Drivers Club (from this site) and your local Chapter. Buy the proper shop manual and parts books for your car. Welcome to the wonderful world of Studebakers. I would get the car to run and stop first before worrying about cosmetics. As you come upon specific problems/questions/challenges ask here.

Go back to the home page, click on tech tips, then click on things to do after you bring the new studebaker home. This article by Ingvar Vick and Herb Philips is a great start in the right direction.

If you can post a few pictures we might be able to help evaluate the condition, etc.

Its a 1950 Studebaker Champion, 6 cyl, 4 door. I wanted it because of the doors. It was comance red. It has a lot of surface rust but no holes and floor is good. The seats, door panels and head liner is rotted. The dash is intact with a radio. The engine is intact except for plug wires and is free.

Sounds Good, let's see some pix when you find time, the seats, door panels, and headliner are available I believe so you should have a good little car when it's done.:)
