Someone on craigslist has a 193? (they believe it is a 1937) Studebaker flatbed truck they are giving away. For more information and pictures, go to craigslist, SF Bay Area, For Sale, then enter Studebaker.

sheesh, west coasters. It needs a new hood but the rest of the sheetmetal looks eminently salvageable. I'd take it in a second if I had a place to put it. heck, if I had storage, I might even consider shipping this exact truck over here, unless there is something I am missing, I bet it is worth at least $750 or so in good parts, or who knows, it might be resurrectable.

Those are 20" 6 vent hole M16 wheels. I'm looking for 20" 5 vent hole M15 wheels. The M16 wheels are hub-centric and the M15 wheels center with beveled lug nuts. Why Studebaker used 2 different kinds of 20" wheels is beyond me.

Based on the small bumper and no hood ornament, I'd say it's a 1946 or 1947. Cab is different than a pickup (firewall). Doors, center grill and hood would fit, but even the front fenders, running boards, and side grills are different from a pickup...and VERY few people are looking for big truck sheet metal.

Fred Cook who hangs out here occationally has parted out several of these, but the going price is generally free to $200.
