T cab front clip mount

Is there a good reason I should not put a solid bar across the frame to mount the radiator core support part of the front clip ? I don't really like the single mount bolt and spring arangement that allows the front clip to move side to side.

They were built that way for a reason if there is no give at the front it will tear some where else.

Kind of like the 53 ck frames ?

The 53 C/K mounts were on either side of the raidator mounting frame and you had beter measure and seperate the pieces because they are what lines up the body to the fenders.
