Bob Bourke also thought so. His own '54 Starliner, that he bought new and kept until he died, was/is black. He thought that they looked the best in dark colors because of the poor panel fit and large gaps.

Thanks,I think so too.
Theres still lots to be done(isn't there always),but shes a really nice driver with her all new springs,shocks,brakes,and tires.Re-built 259 too.Im in no hurray as I don't plan on letting this one escape,Ill do over the dash this year,fix lots of little things,and mabey get to the headliner and A/C over next winter.
