I'm pretty sure that no one manufactures headers for this specific application. You might check to see what an Avanti II uses. You can also take a peak at these...

I think CC2's or CC3's might be the closest.

If all else fails, make your own (or have them made)...

(BTW, Ed also makes flange kits for Studebaker V8's...not to mention 1712 cubic inch Allison V12's [:p])

Dick,

Would those Allison headers clear the stock Avanti steering box?[:p]

Miscreant at large.

The headers clear the steering box fine...it's just that cylinders 9-12 end up in your lap :D

Were the one's you tried a generic 'block hugger' type header?
Sort of like here:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SB-Chevy-Block-Hugger-Headers-Stainless-SBC-283-400_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33631QQitemZ8050397836QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

Reason I ask, is I have seen two different styles of the generic block hugger header. One style has the two center pipes going to the outer collector tube holes, and the other style has the center two pipes going to the inner collector tube holes.

Perhaps the one style might just clear that steering box.

Or you might try to fit an S10 setup like this:

Food for thought...
