  • This toy Stude costs more than some real ones!

But storage and maintenance would be a lot cheaper!

Somebody's trying to make a killing here. Did you notice how many bids he's received? A big fat goose egg.
You've got to give that guy credit for having a lot of nerve.
I don't care how rare it is.

Perhaps it is an input error and the STARTING bid is supposed to be $18.00 and not $1800. I can see it bringing $100-$150.

Interesting rendition of a K-body. 55 Grille and hood ornament yet what looks like a 53 deck lid ornament and 53-4 Champion rear quarter emblems. That and the bogus 2-tone paint job. Heh - I paid only $200 more for that 53 Commander Coupe I bought about a year and a half ago. And you can get in it and drive it around![:0]

Actually, Dinky toys in mint/boxed condition can fetch big dollars-especially the French made Dinkys. I'm sure his asking price is $1800. Ever see what some "Redline" HotWheels sell for? Over $1000! Check out his other items. He has a lot of high dollar Dinky Toys for sale.

Go ahead Bob, rub it in...

I'll trade you anyway, you know the 55s are way more desirable than the 53s so it's a good deal for you

I saw the pics in the other thread, if the rest of the car looks as good as the pics, I'm a little bit jealous right now...
