Hi again,
Can someone tell me how readily available body panels are for a 63 Hawk? I know.. I know..but I can't help entertaining the idea that I might keep/get stuck with it.

I've seen Phantom advertizing fiberglass replacements. The pictures I've seen look very good. If I know Rene (the owner of Phantom), they're probably as close to a perfect match for the originals as you'll find. If you want steel, I'm sure they're out there, but NOS ones will be hard to find and $$$.

The fender you found will NOT fit your Hawk. The GT Hawks used a bit
of a modified rear fender, in that the rear edge at the top stayed
"flat" all the way to the end, instead of the earlier type which had
a downward curve at top. The top chrome strip blends into the tail
light on the GT, where the two are separate on the earlier models. If
the fender is not DAMAGED from an accident, its cheaper to have a shop
weld in new metal then replace the whole fender. I went to an actual
welding shop (not a body shop) and it was CONSIDERABLY cheaper.

Any decent body shop could use these panels for your car.
I'd buy them just to have around,if you know you need rear quarters.
Judging from the pics of your car,IIRC,you don't need them.[unless you've actually gotten that far as to grind or strip them to bare metal already]
Did you get it running yet????

No, haven't tried yet. It's evidence in the Quincy PD Investigation so I CAN'T do anything to it. I didn't think of that part when I decided to say an official Hello to my good friend Larry Brown. Now I want to start working on it and I can't. I'm not going to get any money from the PD thing... I just did it for revenge. I'm going to file a civil suit to get a judgment against the fellow.... but now I don't care about the civil suit anymore (Wife DOES)...I just wanna work on the car. I got some parts, some time, and a little money (very little). I'm tired of sitting in the car making zoom zoom noises.
