Alice In Lark Land

I was wondering around the web looking for info on 1948-1953 Dodge trucks and found something interesting. Amoungst the brochures copied regarding the Dodge trucks of these years, there was a copy of a brochure called 'Alice in Lark Land'. It's supposed to be a guide for women to get comfortable operating her first (new?) car .

There were a series of those for teachers, nurses and so on. they were targeting the female buyer.

I seem to remember seeing that folder at a Studebaker dealer many years ago. Very cute. A real collector's item.
That said, a campaign like that today would go over like a lead balloon.
