    anyone know gross weight of 1956 packard 352 ci complete engine?

    I know it will bend a Chinese "heavy duty" engine stand.

      There was an 56 Stude Golden Hawk article on this and other performance (352 vs 289) issues earlier this year in Turning Wheels.

          If I had a way to weigh it, we've got a complete one with tranny at the shop.[8D] I could put it on our scales, but it only goes to about 400 lbs or so...[B)]

            352 Packard, 4.00 Bore x 3.5 Stroke, Length 33, width 24, heigth 34. approx weight dry 700 lbs. From Motors Auto Repair 1957. Only about 35-50 lbs heavier than a 51-64 Stude V8.
