What is the number for a radiator lower water hose? Eng. is a 289 in a 64 Cruiser. I need one with the spring.

I believe that one may be discontinued. I and the other Stude. vendors at studebakervendors.com sell the (Studebaker vendor only) new formed hose 1550654 $14.00.

Found a Goodyear hose 60313 at the Carquest parts store listed as a #20923. Hose has the spring, will be back in the shop on Monday to try for a fit. Thank you all.

The Carquest radiator hose works, Carquest #RBR 20923 same as a Goodyear #60313. While the system was opened I also replaced the water pump with a correct flange pump. The old pump did have just slightly smaller vaines. When we started up with the new pump it collasped the lower hose thus causing the spring hose to be needed. Hope this helps some of the heat problems.

Cool. anyone know what numbering system Carquest uses, Dayco, Gates, other? I'll add that one to "the list" as the Goodyear number was the only one I had.
