  • Calling All Florida Studebakers!

Saturday (February 18th) is going to be Studebaker Day at 'The Villages' car show and cruise in Lady Lake, Florida (also listed on the SDC Events listing).. It is also the NCFSDC monthly chapter meeting. This is a big show (free!)and the event coordinators park all the cars on the town square. All the Studebakers are going to meet an hour early, and be escorted in as a group a half hour early and pre-parked as a group. Imagine that? A Stude getting special treatment![:0]
So if any of you southeastern Stude owners want to bring 'er out and have some fun...contact me for details...
    Thanks, Jeff[8D]

      Super!
Just take I-4 NE to US27 and take it all the way north until you get to 'The Villages' (4 miles north of Lady Lake).
Turn left just before the funky looking golf cart overpass.
Publix will be a block to the south..

Well, I went up to The Villages for the car show and what a great time. I had the opportunity to meet Jeff and a few of the North Central Florida folks. The location of the show was fantastic. This was an all marque show and the quality of the cars was outstanding. While most were Street Rods, there were quite a few restored cars as well. I wish I was better at posting pictures because I took a lot.

While talking with Jeff later in the day, we had Rodger Wilson come over and introduce himself. It seems Rodger likes to lurk around the forum a bit, but hasn't posted yet. Here's hoping he does soon because he seems to be a real classy man (no pressure, eh Rodg? ).
