  • What a sharp 2R truck!

Here's a photo I doubt any of you have seen of a restored 2R. Craig Nelson, who is selling some leftover Stude parts on eBay right now, told me about his former 2R that was chosen for a radio station 2006 calendar. They did a nice job presenting the truck in the photo for September:

I don't care for the turn signals, but it is purdy.

I like the concept of the calendar - classic vehicles, period attire on the beauties adorning them, all well photographed and airbrushed. Maybe the fellow who makes the annual Studebaker calendars can try this style for next year?

Yikes! She looks like an old girlfriend, and the truck looks a little familier, too! Is this the late Jack Merril's old truck- with lots of 'accessaries' and details added? Kinda looks to be the same color anyway...
Just to add to the 'OMG' factor- I used to listen to KZOK back in the day as well! Now that I'm so far South it's kinda hard to do.

                  Great link!

The 2R is among my favourite trucks. I don't currently own one (or any Studebaker for that matter) but I hope to remedy that someday. You all don't mind sight seers, do ya?
