Yes, it is! It's only about 25 miles from me, I might just have to go admire it.

Man, that IS a honey of a car!

I wish I had the money. Any bets on what it's going to close at?

Hey Todd, you could drive that back from OK in 2-3 days. Do I smell a bid and a road trip? [)]

I'd be living in the dog house (if I had one) if I bid on that! I may have to find one when the Lark is completed. I still have a Triumph Spitfire to sell too! They don't get much more solid than that one though..I make my "Hagerty Fantasy Bid" $17500..

Kevin, I am not familiar with those two places. I haven't been to Sarnia in about 10 years.

My travels lately take me to Sarnia and other ports on the Great Lakes. I heard one of the fellas mention a road trip in another thread and got the impression you lived there. Nice town. The girls at the Riverport Tavern seem very nice! Kevin in the Stoogebaker

I live about an hour from Sarnia but once my Stude is road worthy I'd be all for a road trip with a bunch of other Stude owners!

Kevin, I'm sure there's a few of us in the area. I'm about 45 min south of Sarnia on the US side. It's a nice little town, and I've been to the casino more than once. A friend's mom likes to go antiquing in a couple of the hamlets south of there. I spent a bit of time in St. Clair (MI)where a friend of mine lives.

The ship is at the Gov't wharf which is about 1/2 mile south of the Bluewater Bridge by the grain elevator. Like I said, the Maumee was built in 1929 and should really be a museum piece but she is a daily driver. I started this past shipping season on her, then got transferred to the Calumet, also built in 1929. For pictures check out boatnerd.com
Actually I have another reason for wanting to go to the area in my Champ. That would be Silvertone Exhaust Co. in Ingersoll. I know they make exhausts, but do they do the installation as well? Kevin in the Stoogebaker

I don't think Don does installations on his exhaust. You could call him. His garage is kinda full of pipe bending equipment and other "stuff". Nice guy though. I live in Ingersoll as well. I think there are more Stude fans per capita here than anywhere else in Canada!

Kevin...I had Don make my set up for my Champ but he only makes the tail pipes for straight out the back and since I have a spare tire bracket under mine there is no way I could run duals out the back so I just ordered the front pipes and mufflers from him theninstalled them myself and took it to another shop that would bend my tailpipes any way i wanted them ( which was out the sides ) so not to interfer with my spare tire. If you order your pipes he'll deliver them to the SB swap meet or York if your going. He does do a nice job on his pipes.
