I don't know about the quality of this mod, but if Studebaker built a convertible Hawk, I believe they would have sold many, many thousands. Sharp looking.

A GT would be the only Studebaker I would even think of cutting the top off of . I really dislike the T-bird looking tops the factory used. Just my opinion .

Isn't this the GT Hawk convertible that was built by Stan Pridachuk in WA? Was he a "long term Studebaker employee." He also built a Packard Hawk convertible which now is in TX. Both were painted the Camaro blue. I've been told he did add some support to the chassis but I would be concerned about any HT that had the top removed and was not originally engineered to be a convertible.
