Does anyone offer reproduction seat foam for Studebaker seats? I have NOS seat covers for my 63 Lark (bench) but the foam is toast. The back seat looks to have cotton-like material under the upholstery and it is toast. I'd rather find form fitted underpad instead of making it.
Thx

I think you are going to have to make it; what I've heard is the hot ticket is to pick up an electric carving knife (your local Salvation Army probably has one for cheap if you don't need a new one) and use that to shape the foam to fit.

good luck,

That's true. I saw the idea on an HGTV show where someone was making a round footstool, and recommended one of those electric carving knives to "carve" the foam. It worked beautifully. I obtained such a knife and have used it on spongy soft foam and even on styrofoam, when making custom packaging to protect heavy items before packing them to ship.
