  • E-M-F and Studebaker

For anyone interested in seeing some historical documents regarding the EMF/Studebaker deal, I've uploaded some new scans at http://different-by-design.blogspot.com/

I have lots more, and plan on posting them fairly regularly.

Not trying to cause controversy here, only contributing to the lore about the aforementioned cars--but; my grandmother, who grew up on an Iowa farm (and was no car buff), distinctly recalls an EMF referred to as an: Every Morning-- Fix!

There were many names people would call them, but I think anytime you give a product initials you're asking for people to make up new names! Anyway, I think the general consensus was that they were good quality cars and far superior to the Ford Model T. EMFs were a little more expensive.
