  • V-8 Piston Identification

I was given a set of V-8 pistons with rings that supposedly came out of a NOS or rebuilt V-8 engine that was damaged beyond use. These are dished top pistons and each has the letter "C" marked in white paint on the top. The pistons have the number 1558178 cast inside. I can't find this part number in the parts book, so I assume it is a casting number. I believe they are from a 289. Does anyone know what year/size these pistons are? Thanks.
