In preparation for having my dashboard on my '48 Champ C5 faux-woodgrained, I have removed it from the car. The only thing still attached to the dashboard is the cigarette lighter. How do I remove it? It appears to have a small bezel on the front holding it in. Looking at the back side, it almost looks like it was pressed into the dash from the back. The body (or base) has some "ribs" that catch on the edge of the hole. I have applied a little force to see if the base would separate from the bezel, but no movement. HELP!!!
Anyone done this[?][?]

Not sure about the 48 but later models you would turn the back part like unscrewing a bolt to separate the front part from the back part
try it with your fingers and if it is stuck use some pliers on the ribbed part

Thanks 41 frank. Got it.:D How hard was that[:o)]. (I had turned it, just not while holding the front bezel.
