Plug wire question

Does the flat clamp that's holding the spark plug wires next to the valve covers just pop open? Do you have to pry it open? Here's an image with what I'm talking about:



I just don't want to force it or bend it.

Nope. Doesn't open.
Usually you can pull off the boot on the cap end and slide each one through one at a time.
