I just bought a 60 Lark 4door sedan with the 259 V-8 motor. It is in great shape and has been sitting since 1991. It is a manual shift and when driving it shows a noticeable "clunk" sound when shifting gears. Thinking it just needed u-joints I pulled the driveshaft. The problem is in the rear differential. When you turn the pinon gear yoke it has a lot of slop and the whole thing makes noise.
Does anyone know where I can send the whole rear end to get rebuilt or does anyone have a good fresh one that I can swap out. I live in colorado about 50 miles north of Denver.
