For all you body type gurus.

Took the Conestoga to the NHRA Museum Cruise night. Met a guy with 7 or 8 Studes.

He said he's got a 61 (or 62) sliding roof Lark sedan..........
NOT a wagon. The roof slides from the front to the rear. No welds, no bondo, so apparently not an add-on.
Seemed like a nice guy, we exchanged numbers, so maybe I'll see it some day.

Any ideas what he may have?

Sorry, didn't know whether to put this in here or the other section!

Yeah - a Skytop option. We'd call it a sunroof, if you will.:D

Miscreant at large.

Skytops were available from the 1961 through 1963 model years. I have owned 1961 and 1963 Skytop hardtops. A friend of mine bought a 1961 Skytop sedan new. It is a vinyl material that pushes back. It is normally referred to as a Skytop or a sunroof. I have never before heard of it as a "sliding roof." The sliding roof description is usually for 1963-1966 Wagonaires with a steel panel that slides forward.

If you know anyone who has a Skytop car, please either point them toward the website, or email me with their name/address/email address.
