I don't remember who it was (or where!), but someone was asking about oversized forged 289 pistons.

Well hopefully next week, I'm going to see about having a modern (1/16"-1/16"-3/16 ring package, short skirt, etc.) design set of forged .060" over, flat top, 289 pistons made for my Conestoga.

If anyone's interested, let me know.

No...I haven't been there to discuss the matter yet, so I have no idea about cost.......yet.

Where are you going CP piston Co. In O.C. or some other place let us know and price and quanity. I need some odd ball stuff. I was going to get 3 5/8 x 2 13/16" and 3 5/8 x 3 5/8" looking at $700 a set including rings.

Mike, You might check with BRC in Live Oak Florida. A few years ago they made a forged set of pistons for my son's Stude 289.

Thanks Kerry,

Ross is right up the street. A friend has been doing header work for him lately. I went with him one day, we got talking Studes. He used to have a Stude Bonneville racer....untill someone ran into it!

He offered, so gotta hit while it's still warm.
