Need help with cross referencing numbers. For 66' Wagonaire, rear. Book lists # 1560439 as a HD unit. SASCO is out of this # as well as the stock units.
S. Allenís has no HD units, but has a # 1559760 (6 leaves) Will this 1559760 work?
We have a cracked third leaf, and the second, and main are bending at the stress point.
I am hoping to do a quick swap to keep the wife on the road.
Ross.

Ross,

I happen to have a pair of good, used springs from under a 66 Wagonire if you want them. Free!

I may even be able to get them a free ride to Whittier, CA if you can wait a few weeks.;)

Yea, sounds great! What are your feelings about packaging and shipping? at my expense of course. I had hoped to get this thing safe before school starts in two weeks.

I could band them together and send them via Greyhound. Easiest for me and cheapest for you. I just went out and laid hands on them[8D] Didn't wanna get all frothed up about this and then find I'd let them go sometime in the past.
But sure enough - there they were. E-mail me Ross. Tell me what's the closest Greyhound depot near you.:D

Too bad you couldn't wait a short time for them, I would have picked them up on my way back from Spokane you are only 10 min. away from me.

Hello all,
Just dropping in to give an update. The Wagonaire is back on the road, and I now have a very happy wife :D I installed the springs Mr Biggs supplied yesterday, no too bad of a job, not a bad price[^]
I have watched (in cyber space, and in person locally)the generosity, and willingness of Stude drivers to share time, parts, labor ECT, but never been the recipient till now. I am grateful to be part of this fine fellowship. I will surly remember this when I have a chance to sow what I reap....well, I think you know what I mean.
Ross
