I must have blown a seal/gasket yesterday in my 58 Packard with the fordomatic transmission. Does anyone know of a good mechanic in the Spokane, WA area. The transmission shifts ok but just leaks!!

Ed, at United Engine and Transmission (13211 E Trent, Spokane, WA, 926-9888) worked on the FlightOMatic in my car. He specializes on old cars and seems to have lots of experience with early automatics. He sealed mine satisfactorily and it hasn't been a problem. My only issue was that the cost seemed high for the work done. But then, I may just be out of touch too.
