Flipping through the World Wide Web last night, I turned to the SDC Charters in my area(TEXAS)and noticed that the North Texas Chapter was having their monthly meeting! It just happened to be at a Historical Park a block away from where I work. The park opens at noon, so I showed up right at 12, alittle early, so I probably missed some cars, but I talked with some really nice people and will probably join the club in the future(when I get a Studebaker!)
Here are a few pictures!-DAN

Pretty cars! Ironically, I can personally relate to each one you've chosen to show. That 55 President - I have one like that awaiting it's turn. The 55 coupe is exactly like one I parted out a couple of years ago(same colors even). The 53 coupe is Maui Blue, like mine (only mine's not 2-toned), The 58 Pres hardtop is a cousin to that 58 wagon I'm getting (gonna arrive here on Tuesday![:p]) And a 66 Wagonaire (mine was rust-free) is what I just sold to a fella in NC.:D
I love 'em ALL! All Studebakers. There's none I'd turn my nose up at. Even the ones considered ugly are refreshingly stylish when compared to the jelly beans and boxes that ply the roads today.;)

Hey! Thanks for sharing!:)

A+ pics danarchy, be original, go stude stay stude. anyone who buys a studebaker is making the choice to be different and steer away from the mainstream (ie. 69 camaro small block, 64 impala, buick special)not to say these aren't great cars, but studebaker is such a great car and has such a loyal following. please step into the stude family and enjoy greatness.

Not only that, but when you take your Stude to the local cruise night, you'll get some great stories from people who've had some experience with these cars. Plus you'll steal some of the thunder from the normal cruise night attendees. (55 Chevy, Mustangs, Impalas. etc.)[^]

Those pictures are terrific. I have taken thousands of car show pictures over the years and even in this digital age my photos don't come out any better than they did when I was using a Brownie Starmite. Thanks for sharing them. Texas is looking better to me every day.
