  • changing out the rear quarter on a wagon

I have two '63 and '64 wagons. The '63s I'm going to keep. So the '64s are parts cars right now.

Can I switch the rear quarter from one wagon to the other? the book shows an exploded view of the rear quarter. Was it welded together[V], or bolted? The right rear quarter on my '63 Daytona wagon is really beat up and it would be much easier (i think) to replace than bang it out. It's not crushed in, just really, really, beat up.

If I can't switch out, I'll have to get Ray to sell me his body hammer set.

I don't think I have ever seen a wagon rear quarter with out the window section attached. And that was not a bolt on assy.

      Welded[V]

BTW, there's a local fella with a couple of '63 wagons he's gonna dump. (Maybe dump my way, but I'm resisting[}])

BACK! BACK thou tempatatious devil! Back I say!
LOL You take them Mr. Biggs. As if I don't have enough to haul back to Carolina...

As it is, I'm looking at three trips. One with the household items one with the '63 wagon and '62 sedan and finally the Champ and the other wagon. There's a '63 Cruiser in Modesto that sorely tempts me. How though, would I get it back there??? I'm figuring the cost of the move at almost 4k now!

That leaves one Champ parts truck, two '64 wagons (parts cars - rollers) and the '52 Commander sedan (complete). They aren't coming. I've been trying to get a home for the Commander for several years. No luck.

        Sigh. I hate moving.[V]
