  • Sagging Rear Spring

My 71 Avanti does not sit level in the rear. Driver side is closer to the wheel by a good 1 inch when compared to the passenger side tire rear wheel. The front spring bushings are bolted to the lowest hole and the rear shackles and bushing look fine. Both springs have 5 leafs in them. I replaced the rear shocks with new ones and the driver side shock was defective but this did not improve the leveling. Is this a leaf spring failure and are springs from a Lark the same length? I have a spare 61 Lark crusier and it sits level in the rear. Thanks.
