Looking for a Latham supercharger manifold for my 54 232. Anybody out there have one?

You're kidding, right? That's one hell of a tall order bone.... They were very rare even during their own time and built almost exclusively for GM cars. I dunno that Latham ever built anything for Studebakers, unless it was a prototype or a hand-built, one-off deal.
From another forum, "They made very few Latham intake manifolds and the ones they did make were strangely crude in nature, especially given the unbelievable workmanship of the Latham superchargers. You can use the Corvette Rochester fuel injection manifold (the early one not the late one) but it was pretty damned easy to mount it to a standard 4V intake manifold." "......they made more blowers than intakes, and the originals used the lower part of a real corvette fuely intake", ".....Latham was used on the 1963 Corvette Mako Shark prototype too. Between that and the four Carter YH sidedraft carbs that I think were specific to the early vettes".......
A Latham is so rare that it's almost impossible to find enough parts to even put together a complete setup for a GM car, and not to mention the expense. Very neat setup though, I sure hope that you can figure out how to get it mounted on that 232. It does look like it's gonna be an adaption though. You're lucky as hell just to even have a Latham supercharger setup! I'm jealous! [:I] Keep us in the loop about getting it on that 232 will ya? Good luck bone!

Thanks for the pics. Nice to know I'm not the only one. If I ever figure out how to do it , I'll post a sequence on the project. yestiddy ah cudnt neven spel compputter drivr now i are one.
Jeff(Deepnhock)Rice offered to build me a manifold but it appears to be a four step operation.
1 mock up
2 cut and fit
3 swear
4 repeat steps 1-4 as necessary.
Really, it should be a fairly easy fit as the outlet to drive length almost centers the outlet over the inlet on a 2v manifold. I'll have to relocate the oil fill to the valve cover. I think a c**v thermostat housing will do that very well.
I just got a complete set of fresh original Carter YH carbs, with the Badger air cleaners and the 4 port fuel manifold, so a gennie manifold would be just ducky.
Richard Paul, owner of the Latham patent, told me that one or two Stude setups were made so there is one out there somewhere.
He is presently developing a Latham for the RX8. It is a very compact unit. Check it out a rx8club.com.
