  • Amperes gage

I just added a second ground wire from the engine block to the chassis, to improve grounding, and have noticed the amperes needle jumping a lot more while idling or sitting at a stoplight. It's always had a little quiver while the turn signal was on, or brakes, but not otherwisem, but I just seem to notice it more now. Could this mean anything?

I'm also hearing what sounds like a buzz coming from the ignition sometimes when starting, but otherwise it starts better than ever.

Hank - I honestly think you're just watching the Amp gage more![:I]
As long as the car's charging OK and you're not having problems with starting or wild gage swings, I'd not worry about it.

    Miscreant at large.
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.
