I was wondering if any one would know of a replacement and availability and vendor of the gold mylar inlay in between the moulding strips on my 1958 Packard Hawk. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Have you tried here yet? http://www.studebaker-intl.com/ Also, there's a fella who's keeping track of Packard Hawks. I don't have his email address right in front of me, but I'm sure he knows where to get the stuff. Have you put your car in the Packard Hawk registry yet?

That gold Mylar has been reproduced at least a couple of times over the last 30 years. A friend of mine had it made up the first time. I know that he had to have a large roll of it made. I also know that he eventually sold out of it. Try the major vendors, like SI, and the guy that keeps the Packard Hawk Register.
