Can somebody get the contact info and some particulars on the 64/65 brown Cruiser in Jeff's pictures. Looks similar to my first car and may be interested for sentimental reasons.

The cars for sale were way down, I suspect it's the ebay effect. i.e. last year I offered a 64 Hardtop at York for $2750 with no takers. I brought it home, put about $300 in repairs and sold it on ebay for 7K. One experience like that and you tend to give up the internet sales.:) Parts sales were slow even on Saturday, so I left early. I was able to find all the parts I needed though. I bought the Turner brakes for the truck as well as a NOS latch and striker. N8 scored a NOS window regulator for his coupe and a pair of decent 944 power bucket seats for $10 each !

I didn't take any pics, but for those saying that younger people aren't into Studebakers there was a nice exception that showed up late today. Guy looking to be about in his early 20's showed up in a '63 Wagonaire with a nasty sounding whine, flat black paint, and some slicks on the back. Turns out it was his dad's car and he dropped a 383 Chubby stroker into it (the whine was the gear drive cam) appears to have left everything stock except the engine mounts and driveline. I didn't get to talk to him but hopefully someone pointed him this way.

I can see this car causing a run on sedans..
The lines are so nice with the chop on the top.
But.....
Losing the drip rails lost my vote...
And how much bondo is there around the headlight and taillight bezels..

I have pictures of that car at York in 2001. There were several other wild cars there that year. Did you buy anything, Dave?
