  • Studebaker V8 Rebuilt Long Block Engines

I understand there will soon be a source for rebuilt Studebaker V8 engine long blocks. This is great news. Does anyone here have any idea when any will be ready? (hint, hint, Sonny )
I have a customer that could use one pretty soon.

      Sure!
I need a 289 long block setup for a customer.
I can bring a core up for exchange.
Quote me a price, so I can scare the crap out of Rick's partner <lol>.
Actually, it sounds like a good idea. I have so little time right now, that it makes sence to get a long block and stuff it in the Transtar and get it back to him in a reasonable amount of time.

        Any word yet Sonny?
I nned to get my ducks in a row.....

        I need a 289 long block.
Want an R1 type cam, and aluminum cam gear.
        Mild compression (stock).
        I can/will bring a core to you.

        Let me know soon, ok?
I asked Ted Harbit, and he is no longer building engines.

          Jeff,

I have the cam and gear you want. Ted's R2+ cam and the prototype for his new production aluminum gears. Again, all stuff that was going to go in my '62. Don't think I need it for the 'vert as it supposedly is all R1 inside.
