Dwell tach for 6v positive ground

Will dwell tach/volt meters that are normally used on 6v. neg. ground work on my 1950 stude 6v pos. ground?

Yep, it'll work, but if I remember correctly, you'll have to reverse the leads.

Did someone recently state that 12 volt dwell/tac meters would function in a 6 volt environment? My non-FLAPS has never heard of 6 volts.
