    ok so i just came back from the junk yard and i found the webber 2 barrel i wanted now its all about a re-build kit and any sujjestion from you guys. is their anything i have to know about thisw carberator and my car. ( 63 straight 6, 170 ohv not sure if it's 2.0 or 2.8) will i need to change the jets in the carb, anything you guys can think of would be helpful. thanks

    Is that the Holley-Weber progressive two-barrel as used on Pintos and some other cars? They are a good carb, built by Holley using a Weber design under licence, IIRC. I put one on a Volvo B20 engine years ago, using a home-made manifold.

    It would be a good carb for a Stude six, but I think you'd have to rework the carb flange on the manifold to take fullest advantage of it.

      yes that is the carb i got. whats the carb flang on the manifold? if that has to do with the intake manifold i've got an adaptor coming in today. the only problem i forsee is the throttle linkage but i might have an idea for that.
