Great weather today as I brought my youngest nephew with me in my '63 Hawk to the North Star Chapter's meet at an old time village (Pioneer Park). Aside from my left front tire going flat on the drive home (the wheelcover rotated on the wheel and cut into the rubber valve stem), it was a great day.

I feel sorry for the brand X driver's as their cars don't get much respect with Studebakers nearby. [8D]

The grain truck was my nephew's favorite.

I hope my oil leaks didn't kill any grass on main street....

Somehow, I didn't get all of the Studebakers photographed. Too busy talking I guess. [:0]

I forgot to mention that I purchased a new Actron timing light and an Actron multi-purpose meter (including dwell) for cheap on Ebay a couple of weeks ago and this was my first voyage in this car since adjusting the ignition system and with the new exhaust system. Happy to say that it runs better and I gained one mile per gallon from my previous best (now 16.5 mpg) even though I drove mostly back roads with several stop signs. :)

I thought about it all day, but just sold three 57/58 Packards and the one picked up today had one of the front drums seized. That put this project over on time in terms of getting it unseized and loaded on the trailer. Thanks for the pics.

If you are talking about the nice Teal color Green on the wide box Champ, [:p] you're RIGHT!

If you are talking about the R series, not so much. [xx(]
