I've decided to sell my 1963 Lark 2-door. The car has 65,000 miles on it. The dash, headliner, door panels etc. are practically perfect. The car is a 6-cyl with O/D and it has a hill holder. Everything works on the car (even the cigarette lighter). The doors, windows, locks etc all operate smoothly. The engine is strong with great oil pressure and compression (140-150 on all cylinders) I'm asking $5,000 for the car. I've included a link to some pics, feel free to email me with any questions.

That is a lovely machine. I wish I'd found your car 4 years ago!

If your referring to the white 63 V8, I saw it, but the car didn't make its reserve.

Beautiful car. I hope it goes to a good home. Wish I had the space for another car. This looks like a car I'd be proud to own.
Best of luck.

Thanks everyone for the compliments about the car, it really looks better in person. Lack of space is the only reason I'm selling the car. I'm wanting to find a nice 1963 Cruiser, preferably a green one with O/D like I had years ago.

I admired this car at York this year. It has the wonderful Custom original interior in excellent shape, and an excellent dash pad too IIRC.

Nice to see a custom with the correct interior. The foam had a tendency to dry rot. Interiors are tough to find so everyone puts installs a Daytona pattern. Daytona pattern had one extra square....four in a row instead of three. Very nice car! Well worth the money

Actually there is a LOT more difference than that! It could be said that the Custom is more plush than the Daytona even though it did not cost more!
The horizontal narrow pleats in the center are peculiar to Customs, and the squares going all the way down also. Daytonas have horizontal medium width pleats in the Insert below the squares which are only at the top. Also the chrome trim on the door panels is more impressive than a Daytona.

It is really too bad that the Customs are the always forgotten, almost never ordered or purchased models in both 2 and 4 door Sedans.

The "Regal" name on the stripper models, being always the best prior to '63 must have sold them way better. [:0]

Wow,
That's a beautiful Custom. I though that what my interior is supposed to look like. [:0] Someday..

...and I think a V8 w/OD...? or auto..can't remember.....I watched it closely because I have a 63' Rose Mist Cruiser, that quite frankly, is in better shape and I thought it was worth about that same $$$$$...I'll be watching your sale closely too......:)
