    Yes I turned it clockwise, When I bought the car I did not get alot of info on it at all and it did not run. The only thing I noticed was the pulley itself was missing along with the lower part of the bracket it was hanging on the side of the inner wheel well. If no special tools are needed I think I could rebuild it. If parts are just 15.00 dollars it must be just "O" rings and such. It looks alot like my 1960 T-Bird power steering pump and system, the only place it ever leaked from was the tank to the pump however that system had a "o" ring inside of the tank at the bottom.

    And if you can find a 63 T-Bird they have a Stainless Steel tank that takes a nice polish.
