  • Trunk lid art

    A friend of mine, a good ole Georgia country boy, likes to take old hoods and trunk lids and use them as his canvas. Here's a '62 Lark trunk lid he did for me. I'm going to hang it from the ceiling in my store.



    I had it on display at SB last weekend and got a lot of ooooohs&aaaaaaaahs

      I can't tell if it is a$$backwards flames, or hardened arteries[}]...

        Traditional flames on Black make a much larger statement. And trunks and hoods done like this make great rain awnings over your shop entrance.

            +I saw that trunk lid with my dad. i commented that wwhile it would bolt on to my lark, the yellow wouldn't really match my black car it is much brighter than the picture shows.

              The best example of that is the 34' Ford 3 windoe from The California Kid, that is just THE perfect flame job.
